Improved relations

In his March 22 campus talk, French ambassador to the United States Jean-David Levitte noted improved relations between the United States and France, but said that he hoped his country's consideration of lifting its 15-year embargo on weapons sales to China -- a point of debate in the European Union -- will not become a contentious issue.
