Students, faculty and alumni gathered on Oct. 27 to dedicate a newly renovated Davenport College
The 72-year-old facility underwent a year-long renovation under the University's ongoing program to update its residential colleges. Highlights of the project include expanded student housing, a new 72-seat auditorium, annexation of 254 York St. as the dean's apartment, and renovation of the lower court in honor of Yale history professor John Lewis Gaddis, who recently received a National Humanities Medal (see story).
