In service to the community

Students, staff and faculty brought along their neighborly spirits and helping hands when they gathered to take part in Yale Community Service Day on April 22. New Haven Reads (shown here) was one of the non-profit organizations in New Haven where Yale community members volunteered their time. Other sites included the Eli Whitney Museum, Fellowship Place, New Haven Boys and Girls Club, East Rock State Park, LEAP, No Place Like Home and the YMCA on Howe Street.
