'We the People ...'

Pamela George, assistant dean of Yale College and director of the Afro-American Cultural Center, was among the faculty, staff and students who read portions of the U.S. Constitution as part of a Sept. 20 program devoted to that historic yet ever-evolving document. Other readers included Adrian Hopkins, Kahina Robinson, Christopher G. Wells, William Segraves, Shannon Stockdale, Caesar Storlazzi, Betty Trachtenberg and Elizbeth-Jane Schiller. The program also featured talks by Professors Akhil Reed Amar, David Brion Davis and Glenda Gilmore. A video of Yale Constitution Day can be viewed online at www.yale.edu/opa/media.
