Autism expert to discuss Yale's expanded clinical services for childhood disorders
Dr. Fred R. Volkmar, director of the Child Study Center and a renowned expert on autism and related disorders, will discuss the expansion of the center's specialty clinical services to Greenwich Hospital on Monday, April 23, at 7 p.m. at Greenwich Library, 101 W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich.
Volkmar will present his vision for the new clinical services, serving clients from throughout the New York metropolitan region, during "The Yale Community Forum: Clinical Services for Childhood Disorders."
Faculty members from the Yale Child Study Center will make presentations on such topics as anxiety, autism, early childhood, learning disabilities, psychopharmacology and Tourette syndrome.
Parents, educators, physicians and those interested in learning more about childhood disorders and the availability of clinical services are invited to attend.

Several undergraduate students will perform selections from their cabaret, "Trying it Out in New Haven: A Musical Celebration of Musical Yalies," on Sunday, April 15, at 7 p.m. at CHOW, 966 Chapel St.
The performers are Casey Breves '09, Danielle Frimer '10, Jay Frisby '09, Jacob Liberman '10, Meg Loughran '09, Jesse Obbink '09 and Felicia Ricci '08. Dan Schlosberg '10 will provide music direction.
