ALL gallery after-party celebrates artists
in its newest exhibit and in CWOS

Yale's McDougal Center for Graduate Students and the School of Art will co-sponsor an after-party at the ARTS + LITERATURE Laboratory (ALL) on Saturday, Oct. 14, following the City-Wide Open Studios (CWOS) exhibition (see related story) at Erector Square.

Yale affiliates are among those who will open their Erector Square studios that day as part of CWOS. The after-party will take place 5-9 p.m. at the ALL gallery, located in Building 2 of the Erector Square complex at 315 Peck St. Admission is free.

In addition, two Yale staff members -- Howard el-Yasin and Max Miller are among the artists featured in ALL's current exhibition "Selected Works by Members and Friends," which will be on view through Oct. 29. The juried exhibition features recent work by 39 Connecticut and national artists. Howard el-Yasin is the assistant director of the Graduate School's Teaching Fellow Program, and Max Miller is a museum technician at the Yale Center for British Art. Both artists are also participating in CWOS.

Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The gallery will also be open on Friday, Oct. 20, 4-7 p.m. Admission is free.

ALL is a non-profit community arts organization for visual and performing artists and writers. The gallery encourages collaborative efforts and facilitates a cross-pollination of ideas among artists, writers and the entire greater New Haven community.
