Bodel Childcare Center to hold spring book fair

The Phyllis Bodel Childcare Center at the Yale School of Medicine will host its annual spring book fair to raise funds for scholarships.

The event will take place Monday-Friday, May 5-9, in the rotunda of the Sterling Hall of Medicine, 333 Cedar St. The fair will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. It will feature children’s books, current bestsellers, cookbooks and self-help books, all at 50%-70% off the cover price. The center is open to all children in the community. First priority is given to parents who are faculty, students or postdoctoral fellows at Yale School of Medicine. It is named in honor of Dr. Phyllis Bodel, the first director of the Office of Women in Medicine.
