A window to treasure

Saybrook College junior Penny Herscovitch, above, stands near the stained glass window she designed for the Saybrook College common room. A reception was recently held in the common room to celebrate the installation of the colorful window. Herscovitch's project was funded by the Saybrook College Council, which commissioned the window as part of the overall renovation of the college. The Yale student has demonstrated her talent for work in stained glass as the founder of a studio in the residential college, where she teaches other students interested in the art.
