Junior Deanna McDevitt scored five goals in Yale's victories last week against Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac universities. This week, she and her teammates will compete in home games against Dartmouth (Feb. 22) and the University of Vermont (Feb. 23).






Men's Basketball (17-7, 9-1 Ivy)

Last Week: Feb. 15 -- Yale 80, Cornell 65; Feb. 16 -- Yale 76, Columbia 56

This Week: Feb. 22 at Princeton, 7:30 p.m.; Feb. 23 at Pennsylvania, 7 p.m.

Freshman Edwin Draughan (Lakewood, CA) was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the fourth time. Draughan scored 20 points in the win over Columbia and had 13 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Yale has now made 180 three-pointers, which is a new school record, breaking the mark of 172 set last season.

Sophomore Bonnie Smith (Oakland, ME) averaged 10.5 points in the two games last weekend.

Senior Meg Simpson (Marietta, GA) had her fourth double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds) in the victory over Columbia.


Men's Fencing (5-6, 2-1 Ivy)

Last Week: Feb. 16 at Junior Olympics

This Week: Feb. 23 at Harvard/Princeton


Women's Fencing (10-2, 4-0 Ivy)

Last Week: Feb. 16 at Junior Olympics

This Week: Feb. 23 at Harvard/Princeton

Yale can clinch the Ivy League title with victories over Harvard and Princeton.


Gymnastics (2-2, 1-0 Ivy)

Last Week: Feb. 17 -- 3rd at Towson Invitational (190.000)

This Week: Feb. 24 at Ivy Classic (at Brown)

Sophomore Jamie Green (Los Angeles, CA) had Yale's top finish at the Towson Invitational. She placed fourth in the vault with a 9.775.


Men's Ice Hockey (6-17-2, 5-11-2 ECAC)

Last Week: Feb. 15 -- Union 5, Yale 2; Feb. 16 -- RPI 5, Yale 2
