Yale Employee Day at Bowl
features free admission, treats

The Department of Athletics and the Department of Human Resource Services have teamed up once again to offer University employees and their families a day of free food, prizes and gridiron action during the Bulldogs' first home game of the 2001 season at the Yale Bowl.

Yale Employee Day at the Bowl will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 22, during the Yale-Cornell game. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.

All regular University employees and their immediate families will receive free admission by showing their valid Yale I.D.'s at Gates E or A between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. All Yale retirees and one guest may also take advantage of the free admission offer.

The first 500 employees through Gate E will receive a Yale Football T-shirt (one per University I.D.). There will also be raffles and give-aways throughout the game.

In true tailgating tradition, Yale Dining Services will serve up free hot dogs, soda and cookies from 11:30 a.m. until game time at the Employee Food Tent, located in the Hospitality Village across from Gate E at the Yale Bowl, located on Derby Avenue.

There will also be free parking available in Lot C on Central Avenue and Lot A on Yale Avenue.

For further information, call (203) 432-1400.
