Aboard the BioBus

Students from New Haven's Wilbur Cross High School learned first-hand about the rewarding career opportunities available in the life sciences during a visit aboard the BioBus. Yale, a long-standing member of Connecticut United for Research Excellence, sponsored a two-day visit by the BioBus to the New Haven Green. The "Bioscience on Wheels" project is designed to strengthen the state's biotech industry. In the New Haven area, 15 biotech start-up companies have raised over a billion dollars in private capital and now employ over 1,300 residents.
