M&P golf tournament

The Department of Human Resources is sponsoring the 12th annual Howard Parish Memorial Golf Tournament for managerial and professional (M&P) employees.

The event is scheduled for Monday, June 17, beginning with a sign-in procedure at noon. Teams, each consisting of four players, will commence play at 1 p.m. A reception and awards ceremony will take place 5:30-7 p.m.

All M&P employees are eligible to participate. The fee is $15 for members of the Yale Golf Course and $50 for nonmembers. Reservations may be made by calling Marilyn Butanowicz at (203) 436-4245 or by sending e-mail to charles.paul@yale.edu.


New Haven Ravens promotion

The New Haven Ravens will sponsor a "Yale University Night" at Yale Field on Sunday, April 14, at 7:05 p.m.

Tickets will be reduced to $1 for Yale students with a valid University I.D. The Ravens will be playing the New Britian Rock Cats, an affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. For more information, call Patty or Jackie at (203) 782-1666, ext. 15.


Yale Rep party

The Yale Repertory Theater will host an "OUTrageous Theater Party" for gay and lesbian theater-goers on Tuesday, April 9.

The event will include a pre-show cocktail hour at the Rep Lounge beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a performance of Caryl Churchill's play "Serious Money" and a post-show dance party at BAR on 254 Crown St. The party will feature reduced admission and free pizza.

New angles

The Yale University Art Gallery is offering a twist on the standard museum tour in its new program "Angles on Art." Yale students will offer their own perspectives on specific artworks at 3:30 p.m. on Fridays, 3 p.m. on Saturdays and 4 p.m. on Sundays through May 5. The tours, which are free, meet at the first-floor reception desk of the gallery, 1111 Chapel St.
