William Purvis, lecturer at the School of Music, will be one of the featured musicians in a concert of works by Haydn, Brahms and Shostakovich.
A French horn soloist who has appeared throughout the United States and abroad, Purvis will perform as part of the Chestnut Hill Concerts series. The concert will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, at the First Congregational Church of Madison, Meetinghouse Lane, Madison. For more information, call (203) 245-5736.
