Setting the stage for Yale's gala celebration

In little over a week, a huge section of the Yale Bowl has been transformed into a gigantic stage for Yale's final Tercentennial weekend celebration Friday-Sunday Oct. 5-7. The Yale 300 Festival around the perimenter of the Yale Bowl will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday (raindate: Saturday). Shuttles to the site will start at 3:30 p.m. The Tercentennial Show will start at 7 p.m. The weekend also includes a symposium, an Academic Convocation and Yale's first-ever Sunday football game. For more information, visit the Yale Tercentennial website at www.yale.edu/yale300. Photographs by Michael Marsland.
