President Richard C. Levin has named James Bundy, artistic director of the Great Lakes Theater Festival and adjunct professor of theater at Case Western Reserve University, to the position of dean of the School of Drama and artistic director of the Yale Repertory Theatre.
Yale's Endowment totaled $10.7 billion on June 30, 2001, a significant increase from the previous fiscal year-end total of $10.1 billion, Yale's Investments Office reports.
It's a tale that's been passed down for generations: In 1701, when the founding of Collegiate School was imminent, 10 ministers gathered at the Branford home of the Reverend Samuel Russel, each bringing a number of books, which were ceremoniously placed on Russel's parlor table to mark the founding of the school.
When faced with the task of selecting who to include and who to leave out of an exhibition celebrating the work of School of Art alumni, Dean Richard Benson decided to not decide.
