Honoring Yale's veterans
Under a gray sky, University community members gathered on Hewitt Quadrangle on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, to pay tribute to Yale men and women who served in the military in war and in peace. A color guard from the University of Connecticut took part in the ceremony, which included the laying of a wreath at the cenotaph and brief remarks. The event was sponsored by the Yale Student Military Organization.
