Goldman-Rakic talk will benefit Fellowship Place

Patricia Goldman-Rakic, the Eugene Higgins Professor of Neurobiology, will deliver a talk, titled "Working Memory and the Mind: A Report from the Neurobiology Frontier," on Thursday, March 20, 5-7 p.m., at the New Haven Lawn Club,193 Whitney Ave. The event is a fundraiser for the Foun-ders Society of Fellowship Place. The society has pioneered the creation of innovative environments and recovery techniques for homeless adults with severe mental illness and substance abuse issues. Tickets to the event are $50 per person. Responses are due by March 18. For information, call Sue Spight at (203) 401-4227, ext. 41.
