On March 26, members of the Yale community put into practice President Richard C. Levin's recent advice to "leave ample room for free expression" on the United States' war on Iraq by staging simultaneous pro- and anti-war demonstrations on Beinecke Plaza.
The demonstrations preceded a "teach-in" on the war, which drew an overflow crowd to the Law School's Levinson Auditorium. (See story.)
To keep the dialogue going, Yale will hold more teach-ins in the coming weeks (see story). Information about these events will be announced.
