In the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci
Hunter Spence, who works in the crafts shop at the School of Drama, constructs his entry for the Leonardo Challenge sponsored by the Eli Whitney Museum in Hamden. The annual event challenges artists and artisans to use familiar materials in ingenious ways. This year's theme is "What Unbuttons Creativity?" Entries will be on view April 11-May 10 at the museum, located at 915 Whitney Ave. The exhibit will kick off with a benefit 5:30-9 p.m. on April 10.
