BIG thoughts

Yale trustee and renowned pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson '73 addressed members of the Ben Carson/Yale University Book Club in a campus event held on April 12. He spoke about his "THINK BIG" philosophy (Talent, Honesty, Insight, Nice -- be nice to people, Knowledge, Books, In-depth learning and God) and told the youngsters: "You have the ability to plan your own future and explore the world through reading. Think outside of the box but maintain honesty and truthfulness and live a clean life with the right values and by good principles." Carson also announced that he has been cured of prostate cancer.
