Search committee named for Law School Dean
President Richard C. Levin has appointed a committee to advise him in the search for a new dean of the Law School.
"As you may know, Dean Anthony Kronman has announced his intention to retire from the deanship on June 30, 2004, which is the end of his second term," said Levin in a letter to the Law School community. "Yale has benefitted immensely from his leadership, and I very much appreciate the Dean's courtesy in giving us ample time to carry out the search."
The search committee will be chaired by Paul Kahn, the Robert W. Winner Professor of Law and Humanities. The other committee members are: Bruce Ackerman, the Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science; Drew Days III, the Alfred M. Rankin Professor of Law; Brett Dignam, clinical professor of law and supervising attorney at the Law School; Alvin Klevorick, the John Thomas Smith Professor of Law, director of the Division of Social Sciences and professor of economics at the Cowles Foundation; John Langbein, Sterling Professor of Law and Legal History; Kate Stith, the Lafayette S. Foster Professor of Law; and Kenji Yoshino, associate professor of law.
Individuals with nominations or comments are encouraged to contact the committee members or the President directly.
