Welcome to the future

Dean of Engineering Paul Fleury took part in the unveiling of "The John Lee," a solar-powered race car designed this year by Team Lux. The team of engineering students and undergraduate racing enthusiasts design, finance and build a solar vehicle every two years, which they then race in a national competition. The futuristic "The John Lee" took part in this year's American Solar Challenge.
