Bereavement group

The Chaplain's Office is sponsoring a bereavement group for students.

The group is intended for students who want to talk with others about living with loss and grief, following the death of someone significant. It will meet for six weeks, 6-7:15 p.m., on Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 2, in Trumbull College fellows room, 2nd floor, entryway K.

The group is open to undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of religious background. The group will be closed to newcomers after the second meeting. For more information, call the Reverend Cynthia A. Terry at (203) 432-1131.


Lewis Walpole Library

The Lewis Walpole Library, located at 154 Main St., Farmington, will host guided tours of the house and its collections on Friday, Oct. 11. The tours will take place on the half hour from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; the last tour will begin at 3:30 p.m. Refreshments will be available. Registration is not necessary. Youth Hockey Clinic

The Yale Youth Hockey Clinic will begin on Sunday, Sept. 29, 8-9 a.m. at Ingalls Rink.Children will learn the basics of skating and fundamental hockey skills, and will participate in organized scrimmages under the supervision of a former Yale player. Registration will be also be held at the Oct. 5 session, 10-11 a.m.
