Burke Marshall
There will be a memorial service on Sunday, Sept. 21, for Burke Marshall, the Nicholas deB. Katzenbach Professor Emeritus of Law and the George W. Crawford Professorial Lecturer in Law.
The memorial service will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the New Haven Lawn Club, 193 Whitney Ave.
A member of the Law School faculty since 1970, Professor Marshall was assistant attorney general during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations and a devoted champion of civil rights.
Dr. Robert Donaldson
A memorial service for Dr. Robert ,Donaldson, the Donald Paige Smith Professor Emeritus, will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 4 p.m. in Battell Chapel, corner of College and Elm streets.
Dr. Donaldson, who came to Yale in 1973, was a former deputy dean of the medical school and co-editor (with Kathleen Lundgren and Howard Shapiro) of "The Yale Guide to Careers in Medicine and the Health Professions," which is now in its second printing.
