Master's tea to feature noted writer Dan Greenberg
Calhoun College will host a visit by author Dan Greenburg on Thursday, Feb. 10.
Greenburg will speak at a master's tea at 4:30 p.m. The talk is free and open to
the public.
Greenburg is the author of 66 books, including "How To Be a Jewish Mother," "How To Make Yourself Miserable," "Love Kills" and "How to Avoid Love and Marriage." His books have been translated into 20 languages in 23 countries. He is also the author of two series of children's books, "The Zack Files" and "Maximum Boy."
Greenburg has written almost 200 articles, which have appeared in The New Yorker, Esquire, New York Magazine, the New York Times Book Review and Newsweek, among others. To do research for these articles, Greenburg rode with New York firefighters for five months; participated in car chases while riding with New York homicide police officers; interviewed convicted felons in maximum-security prison cells; and participated in voodoo ceremonies in Haiti.
The co-author of the Broadway shows "Oh! Calcutta!" and "Free to Be You and Me," Greenburg has written many movies and televisions shows. He's appeared on the "Today" show, "Larry King Live" and "David Letterman."
