Visiting on Campus

Talk will focus on the 'neoconservative legacy'

The Yale Center for the Study of Globalization will host a lecture by Francis Fukuyama, author of "America at the Crossroads: Democracy, Power and the Neoconservative Legacy," on Monday, April 10.

Fukuyama will discuss ideas from his new book at 4 p.m. in Luce Hall auditorium,
34 Hillhouse Ave. A reception and book-signing will follow in the common room. The lecture is free and open to the public. For more information, call (203) 432-1900 or e-mail globalization@yale.edu.

Fukuyama is the Bernard L. Schwartz Professor of International Political Economy and director of the International Development Program at the School of Advanced International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University.

He has written widely on issues relating to democratization and international political economy. He has worked at several think tanks and public policy organizations, has served the U.S. State Department, and was a 2002 appointee to the President's Council on Bioethics.
