Sterling Library's hours extended during
Cross Campus Library renovation

Sterling Memorial Library's (SML) hours of entry have been extended during the 15-month renovation of the Cross Campus Library (CCL). (See "While You Were Away ...")

For the fall 2006 semester, SML will replicate CCL's normal hours of entry, including CCL's late-night study hours. Starting on Wednesday, Sept. 6, entry to SML will close at 1:45 a.m. Sundays to Thursdays; Fridays at 9:45 p.m.; and Saturdays at 6:45 p.m. For the complete fall 2006 schedule of hours and exceptions, visit the website at www.library.yale.edu/hours.

SML will also begin to restrict access into the library to holders of University or Yale Library identification cards Sundays through Fridays after 6 p.m. This restriction will be made to maximize the availability of library resources for Yale-affiliated readers during the evening hours.

Also of note: The CCL collection is now located in SML, on floors 1, 1M, and 1MB in the SML stack tower. More information, photos and current updates can be found at the renovation website: www.library.yale.edu/renovaxn/phase2a.
