Yale Bulldogs season opener is Employee Day
Employees are invited to help kick off the Bulldogs' new football season by bringing themselves, their families and a bit of spirit to the Yale Bowl on Saturday, Sept. 16, for the team's first game, against the University of San Diego.
As part of Yale Employee Day at the Bowl, staff members with a valid I.D. can get free general admission and free parking in lot D off Central Avenue. They can also bring one adult guest and any number of youngsters under the age of 14 -- who will also be entitled to free admission. To top it off, free hot dogs, soda and cookies will be given out to employees and their guests for free from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Hospitality Village (across from Gate E). There will also be a raffle and free giveaways throughout the game.
This year's event is sponsored by TIAA-CREF and Human Resource Services at Yale.
Employees are also reminded that they and their families can enjoy free admission to all Bulldog home games by presenting a valid I.D. at Gates E or A at the Bowl.
For further information, call the Yale Athletics Department at (203) 432-1400.
