Conference to explore new
collaborations with Turkey

"Essentials for a Better World: Energy, Environment, Food and Health" is the theme of the third annual conference of the Turkish American Scientists and Scholars Association (TASSA), which will be held Saturday-Sunday, March 24-25, at the Yale Law School, 127 Wall St.

TASSA is an independent, non-profit and non-political organization dedicated to building a bridge between the United States and Turkey by promoting educational, scientific and technological cooperation.

The conference at Yale will bring together distinguished individuals -- including Nabi Sensoy, the Turkish ambassador to the United States, and Ross Wilson, the U.S. ambassador to Turkey -- to explore and develop new collaborative scientific and technological initiatives. Topics will include "Emerging Fronts in Energy, Environment, Food and Health," "U.S.-Turkey Academic Networks" and "European Union and Turkey." The event will also include poster sessions, and a reception and dinner.

Registration is required. For a full conference schedule, or to register, visit www.tassausa.org.
