The Yale Center for British Art will close its Reference Library, Photo Archive and Department of Rare Books and Archives for several weeks this summer due to the construction of compact storage to improve and increase shelving in those areas.
The Reference Library and Photo Archive will be closed July 22-Sept. 2. While the center's Study Room will remain open throughout the summer for researchers who wish to look at prints and drawings, rare book material will be unavailable July 22-Sept. 22.
Questions regarding the closings should be directed either to Susan Brady, reference librarian, at (203) 432-2846 or susan.brady@yale.edu; or to Elisabeth Fairman, curator of rare books and archives, at (203) 432-2814 or elisabeth.fairman@yale.edu.
