Memorial service for psychologist Neal Miller

There will be a memorial service for psychologist Neal Miller 1:30-3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, in Battell Chapel, corner of Elm and College streets.

Following the service, there will be a reception at the Graduate Club, 155 Elm St.

Professor Miller, who died on March 23 at age 92, was an experimental psychologist whose groundbreaking work at Yale and at Rockefeller University on the brain and behavior led to one of the earliest uses of biofeedback.

Mr. Miller held the the James Rowland Angell Professorship in Psychology at Yale before joining the faculty of Rockefeller University. He returned to Yale in 1985 as a research affiliate.
