Yale Powwow
Sat., 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m.-7 p.m. PWG. A celebration of Native American education and culture. Event will include an invited drum contest and an all-style dance contest. Native American vendors will be on-site and ethnic food will be available.

"Work Together-Walk Together"

"College Admissions: How to Get Started on the Process"
Noon-1 p.m. Peabody Museum. The workshop will be presented by Margit Dahl, director, Undergraduate Admissions. Issues to be addressed will include: How to create a list of prosective colleges, the campus visit and the application process. This workshop is geared towards parents of high school juniors.

"Talking With Parents of Young Children (Ages Birth-5 Years)"
Noon-1 p.m. Beaumont Rm. A discussion on developmental growth, age appropriate expectations, day care, skills, play, social and cognitive development and emotional support. Machu Picchu Family Day
10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Peabody Museum. An Andean festival presented in conjunction with the exhibit "Machu Picchu: Unveiling the Mystery of the Incas." Events will include Andean music and dance, storytelling, crafts and cooking demonstrations. Free with museum admission ($5; $3 for children and seniors; free with valid Yale I.D.).
