Drama Dean talk

James Bundy, artistic director of the Yale Repertory Theatre and dean of the School of Drama, will talk on "The Poetry of the Theater: Yale Rep 2002-2003" at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

The event, sponsored by the Yale University Women's Organization, will be held in the downstairs lounge of the Yale Repertory Theatre, at the corner of Chapel and York streets. Visitors may bring a brown bag lunch at noon; coffee and tea will be served. The event is free and open to the public.


Graduate student retreat

Saint Thomas More Chapel and Center will host a graduate student retreat on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Titled "A Yalie at Prayer: Finding What Works for You," the retreat will be held at the Mercy Center in Madison. Participants will leave Saint Thomas More at 9 a.m. and return by 5 p.m. For more information, call (203) 777-5537.


Battell Chapel announcement

Battell Chapel, College and Elm streets, will be open daily for prayer, 12:30-1 p.m.

No planned services will be held. Individuals will have the opportunity to pray. On Thursdays, a communion service will be held. Everyone is welcome to pray in the chapel or attend the communion services. For more information, contact the Chaplain's Office at (203) 432-1128.


Lewis Walpole Library

The Lewis Walpole Library, located at 154 Main St., Farmington, will host guided tours of the house and collections on Oct. 11, Feb. 14 and May 30.

The tours will take place on the half hour from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; the last tour will begin at 3:30 p.m. Refreshments will be available. Registration is not necessary. For more information, including directions, call (860) 677-2140.


Youth Hockey Clinic

Registration for the Yale Youth Hockey Clinic will be be held at the Oct. 5 session, 10-11 a.m., at Ingalls Rink.

During the clinic, children will learn the basics of skating, fundamental hockey skills and participate in organized scrimmages under the supervision of a former Yale player.

Child Conduct Clinic

The Yale Child Conduct Clinic is currently accepting children between the ages of 2 and 131Ž2 who are displaying behavioral problems such as lying, disobeying parents, swearing, cheating, not getting along with others or getting into trouble at school. For more information, call (203) 432-9993.
