There will be a memorial service for King-lui Wu, professor emeritus of architecture, on Friday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. in Battell Chapel, corner of Elm and College streets,
Professor Wu, who died on Aug. 15 at age 84, served for over 40 years on the faculty of the School of Architecture and was mentor to generations of Yale students, many of whom went on to become celebrated architects in their own right. He retired from Yale in 1988.
A renowned architect who designed public and private buildings throughout the world, Professor Wu won the Architecture Record's award for Distinguished Houses in 1966 and 1975.
