The Yale University Women's Organization (YUWO) will sponsor the fourth in a series of five lectures, titled "Genius of the 20th Century: Freud, Einstein and Marx," on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The speaker will be Martin J. Klein, the Eugene Higgins Professor Emeritus of Physics and History of Science. His lecture is titled "Albert Einstein and His Worlds."
The lecture will be held in the Sterling Memorial Library lecture hall at 10:30 a.m. The fee for the series is $40. The series is open only to members of YUWO and their guests. For more information, call (203) 562-2894 or (203) 288-4164.
Conference Services is inviting staff members who plan meetings or arrange accommodations for Yale guests to attend the twelfth "Hotels of New Haven Holiday Luncheon and Tour" on Dec. 10.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see recent hotel renovations and upgrades, and learn more about the services the hotels offer University conference planners and guests.
Conference Services, the Greater New Haven Convention and Visitor's Bureau and Yale Travel Services will co-sponsor the event. It is funded by six local hotel properties. The McDougal Center, in cooperation with the University Library, is sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 in Rm. 119 of the Hall of Graduate Studies, 320 York St.
